I picked up my first heli today and I think I got a pretty good deal but im not really sure and dont know much about them. The Heli is a brushless Excel model and the transmitter is a Futaba T6EXAP. I paid $180 for this set up with a 11.1v Lipo and a charger. How did I do? is this set up worth that?

Don't know, never heard of that helicopter before? Can you post a link so we can see what you bought?

Take Care,

Ok here is what I have found... It looks to be a Excel Model Heli model number EM550 Pro and it does have a brushless upgrade and many aluminum parts.

That sure looks like a copy of the Shogun with more "blingy" parts.
