I have an early release kit on the 600e. All stock from align. The heli is very smooth. I mmostly sport fly loops rolls flips inv. hovers etc. The batteries were taken care of by tbe book. Break in,timed flights, less than 80% re-charge and balanced, long term storage at what the thunder power 1010c recomends. With that said, I only got 25 cycles on those batteries. I still want to fly the heli but not wanting to spend $250 per. What if any battery is out there without breaking the bank. Thanks for any help. John

25 cycles? Do you think the long term storage affected the life of lipos?

I'm on 70 cycles with a bog standard 600e set up. It may be worth finding out what caused such a short life span.. Apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick.

I would check the Zippy H batteries. I believe they are around $135 per pack.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Stock batteries are not so good as you found out. Most use other brands that are less expensive and last a lot longer.

$250 for a battery is crazy. You can get perfectly good batteries from hobbyking.com or hobbycity.com for a little over $100. Batteries with a 25C or 30C load rating are what you want.

I was looking on line @hobby king and hobby city both are in china. Can you buy either the zippy flightmax or the rino 22.2v 25c 6s1p in the us? I am not sure about sending my credit card numbers to B.F.E.?

I agree Pay Pal is the only way to go for Hobby King purchases. If you use your credit card some (most) card companies charge you a fee for doing foreign currency exchanges.

I had made several orders and have never had a problem. Fast shipping is a week or less. Slow shipping is 1 1/2 to 3 weeks.

Hobby King is working to set up warehouses throughout the works to speed up shipping. They have a US warehouse but don’t have it stocked with very many batteries at this time. Today ordering direct from China will save you about half with fast shipping and more with slow shipping.

I have a TT e550 and have the Zippy-H 20-30C 6S 5000mAh packs. (Paid I think $130 each when I got them).
They are awesome. 3 other Trex 600 flyers at my field turned me on to them. Note that there is a difference between the Zippy flight max and the Zippy-H batteries. I have not tried any flightmax batteries but hear they are just fine for sport flying. I have Zippy-H batteries for my 450 as well and they do well at higher bursting currents than some of my middle grade "budget" batteries.
