Long story short, I love my Raven but my son hates the sound of the ys 50. He liked the HBK2 so much he now has it as a toy and I bought an HDX-450. I sold the ys 50, gyro and servos off the Raven and was looking at the bare airframe and thought it would be cool to have as an electric. I have a spare CC85HV for my pattern plane and 5S lipos so all I should need is a motor, mount and pinion.

I did a search here and found how to make the mount, but it seems the Z50A is out of stock. I looked at hobby king for a cheap motor just to try but everything there has a 6mm shaft or larger.

I guess my questions are where would I find a pinion for a 6mm or largr shaft and is there a ready made mount available?

Do you want to sell the whole lot or would you sell the mount only? Let me know how much you are looking to get out of the stuff.

Who made the mount for the motor, that is what I had in mind but I no longer have access to a milling machine so I thinking about some sheet stock and bending it up in a bar folder.
