100% stock Blade 400 with approximately 80-100 flights, no major crashes. I am using the stock 1800 mah battery and an after market 2100 mah battery. Out of the blue the tail will require maybe 10-15 clicks of trim depending on what battery I'm using. I never had this problem before, any clue what happened to cause this all of a sudden?

Thank you!

PS: to explain what's happening better, if I use battery "A", it will require maybe 15 clicks of trim to the left. Switch to battery "B" and it will require 15 clicks of trim to the right. (and visa versa)

check the CG on the heli with each battery;(but I think that will be a difference in FF no tail) Another thing I can think of is the difference in the out-put of the batteries (transfer to the power of the heli?)

Does the trimming has to be done automatically or after few minutes of fly?

I use the stock battery and some 2150's with no problems or difference; but my blades aren't stock

I dont suffer from mental iIlness, I actually enjoy mine!

There is roughly an ounce difference in weight from an 1800 to a 2200 and I have found that I have to trim the tail a bit one way or the other when going from one battery to another that has a difference in weight. Moving the lighter battery out a bit and the heavier one in a bit can help. I've been trying to get batteries close to the same weight or should start buying the same ones, otherwise have to make a few clicks on the rudder trim to take care of it

A thought just came to me, could add some weight to the lighter battery so that is the same as the heavier battery.
Maybe make sure you're letting the gyro center before moving the heli, 15 clicks sounds drastic. Usually 2-3 clicks makes up the difference in weight for me.

Thanks for the response, there is a difference in weights of the batteries but I'm not sure how that would affect the yaw trim. Maybe the elevator trim however.

It just started doing this also, it's a drastic change in trim when I switch batteries.
