Any of you listen to sirius or XM radio?
My 08 outlander came with a free 6 months subs. which about to end
I really like the "Octane" channel (20), if I was more on the road I would consider renewing the subs.

I've been a XM subscriber for several years now and like it very much. I have receivers in all of the cars and one in the house. I like Octane and some of the other metal stations but I really like the sports stations especially NHL Home Ice and MLB Home Plate. I can find just about any Hockey match or Baseball game I care to listen to. The price isn't too bad either. I think it runs about $15 or so a month and I pay a year at a time.

You might want to flip around and spend some time on the other stations, you might get hooked.

sirius here, listening to Howard Stern right now, but Big 80's, Hair Nation, Classic Vinyl and Rewind are my favorites. Right now they got all Metallica for a month on Liquid Metal. No commercials and don't have to find stations when driving around, very nice.

I club raced motorcycles up till 2006, and driving long haul to some of the tracks in the South East would have driven me crazy without it.
Not sure if I would pay for it if I was only local commuting, but if you hate trying to find a station, or drive long enough to hate commercials, sat radio is the way to go

Before the merge Sirius had The Squizz and XM had Octane. The Squizz was the better of the 2 metal channels in my opinion.

The fact that you don't have to listen to 25 minutes of commercials an hour is the biggest thing going for satellite radio.

I have two radios in my cars and pay for the higher quality internet radio for when I am at work.
