Being that Askman AP is closed till April, does anyone know where or how to get the shocks or parts for the shocks? I need two shafts and the ball ends that go one them, and a spring clip. Any help would be great!

Thanks.

I wasn't able to find the exact same ones when I went shopping for replacements for my Askman - but check on the Askman website - the details of the brand and model is there somewhere. Should be able to locate it then, but it may just be easier to but equivalemts from the LHS if you are in a hurry.

You will need to change the oil too if you want it very smooth. I found the stock oil too light for the camera weight I was using. Changed the oil and it is perfect now. I posted details on this not too long ago.

Well I did go to the LHS that does car/trucks and they didn't have anything even close. It is funny, we have one of the largest heli shops in the world right here, but car and truck shops leave little to be desired.
I did go to the Askman site and found the site: http://www.3racing.com.hk but there weren't any parts there either. I might have to dig a little more there.

Can recall the oil - think it may have beem 100. Did a lot of experimenting to find the right one. Do a quick search here for the info I posted quite recently.

Joela, glad you found them

Take into consideration the temps you will be using them in as well, but generally i played around wiht different viscosities, and ended up with something quite thick, it also depends on your payload

Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience...

Thanks Daytona,
Yeah I ordered a bunch of diffrent weights 20wt-100wt so I will play around a little with it. By the way if anyone else wants to buy the shocks here they are:

They do carry a lot of parts too.
