Well guys, I am pulling my hair out. I am trying to do an engine swap on my Vigor 90 CS from the OS .91 C-Spec to the new HZ .91, but I can't get the darn fan assembly off of the crank of the old motor. I didn't build this machine, so I don't know what type of thread-lock was used, but it is really on there. (Yes, the prop nut is off!)

Any tips, trick, or ideas?

Please help!

Thanks,

JOsh

I used a bearing puller from auto part store.

Looks like JR has one.

So it does not screw off like the Raptor 50 fan? That would explain my failed efforts!

you could try some heat, but what I use is a long flat metal bar whitch is used for laminate wood floor installs. I have drilled 2 holes and attach it to the hub with the clutch screws. bit like a tork wrench.

No, it doesn't screw off. I had to buy the JR fan puller and it was off in 2 minutes.

The JR puller mentioned in the above post is your best option.

I used a puller from the local auto parts store on my Vibe 50 fan and it worked. Not on the 90.
