Check it out for yourself. Call the shops or look at their online shops, Synergy parts are NOT hard to get.

Avant parts aren't hard to get either.

Avant RC made it a point to have parts in stock at their dealerships prior to shipping kits, so there would be no issues.

Add to that a level of customer service that could be matched but can't be beaten.

oh look. bkervaski is off to his "I've owned both, lets bash Avant/ and Synergy is the greatest helicopter ever but I don't want to say it outloud so I don't get flamed" -PM's.

But yet, he writes "PM Sent" so everyone knows he sent a 'secret' PM.

Doesn't take a genius to figure out what he wrote in the pm.

@Dood, I have owned both and do think the N9 is an overall better purchase but that wasn't the entire nature of my PM, it also included a brief account of my experience with Avant that I share with everyone that asks me about the Aurora. Thanks for speculating, though.

By the way, if he wants an Aurora Kit, where would he find one?

get the Synergy and you wont need another heli ever ! low maintenance easy set up and super durable.I have a N9 that weighs less than a trex 700 or and aurora , but it has been redone with all CF goodies.and parts are not an issue.

Pros and cons...

I think the Synergy is a great machine...as is the Aurora...

I think the Synergy flies very smooth and yet aggressive...but the Aurora is still faster and more aggressive....but not quite as smooth...at least in my opinion....

BOTH are VERY expensive helis to own and Crash....Knock on wood...I haven't crashed my Aurora yet...but when I dragged my tail in the mud on the Synergy ...it was painfully expensive to fix....some of the Synergy parts are VERY expensive....

I think Synergy's also require a few upgrades to fly as well as the Aurora...Mine had every upgrade available so I'm sure that had a bit to do with the performance I was getting

Just a couple of my thoughts and opinions...do with it whatever you want...

Yea it is pretty easy to keep parts in stock when there are only a handful of these helicopters flying. From purely a consumer standpoint, the Aurora was a big disappointment for me.

I just searched most of the shops online. I can NOT find a new kit Aurora anywhere(still :rolleyes At least you can buy a Synergy and every needed part anyday of the week. IMHO The customer service and aftermarket suppliers for the Synergy cannot be beaten.

You want the best 90?? Synergy N9 is it.

To answer your question, there is no problem with parts support for either of the two heli's. FULL STOP!

To add to the other posts, unfortunately for you it is very difficult for "many" of the people on this forum to give a non-biased opinion. What you will also find is that most people that are the most "adamant" or "positive" about their opinion have not owned or even flown both of the heli's in question.

In my "opinion", all modern day heli's are quite good and all modern day heli's have their pro's and con's. I think the trick is to find out what the most important part of the hobby is for you. Is it kit cost? Is it performance? Is it parts support? Is it reliability? Is it crash cost? Is it being a little different? Is it local support? Is it aftermarket support? Is it bling?, etc, etc, etc.

Once you figure out what is important to you, the choice of what to buy should be clear for you and only you.

Good luck!

Good post Sam. But I do have to make a couple points here.

1 Yes, parts are ready available for both helis in the thread

2 If I wanted to by an Avant today right now cash in hand, where do I go??? If it isnt available, it isnt a viable option.

They both fly great, incredible in fact.

hi

For instance..

I went to a funfly two weeks ago and saw Kyle Dahl fly all flybarless... my mouth dropped open....

But.. NO ONE flies flybarless at my field.. and Im clueless to setting it up and Im not going to risk crashing because of setup dynamics..

So.. Flybarless is on hold for now LOL

But, from what I see.. WOW, more power, cooler packs and neat inverted autorotation stuff
