iam in the market for a shuttle plus to teach my 7yr old to fly. here is the need help or ideas part. how do you teach someone to fly a heli??? can i use a buddy box? its been yrs since i was taught and it was just word of advice while i tryed. ive taught people to fly planks with a buddy box. any ideas would be great and information on what kind of buddy box would work with a heli.

I would suggest teaching him on a flight simulator first. Once he gets the basic controls down you can start him on the real thing. I would get an indoor coaxial helicopter for him to practice on before you use the nitro helicopter. Coaxial helicopters like the Blade CX2/CX3 are an excellent way to lean to hover and fly around without costing too much in repairs. After he gets good at flying the coaxial helicopter and is able to hover in all directions and fly backwards circuits take him to the field with the nitro helicopter on a buddy lead.
