Wow that's too good. A small heli with decent power and no charging batteries. Are there any close up photos of it? I'm really interested about the layout of the motor and tank etc. and how much does it weigh.

well that is decent, be interesting to see if they come out with official conversions, "Align or this mentioned vendor",,, for the peeps who like nitro this would be an interesting heli for them to have indeed.
With prices going up and up for nitro it may be the one to have, the one that can be afforded by some.

I was always under the impresion that batteries are chepaer on a smaller heli and therefore i've done some calculations and found out the following. With a 30€ (40$) Gallon, a 6oz tank and 8 minute flights per tank on one side, and a 90€ (115$) 6S lipo, 5 minute flights and 100 flights per battery on the other side, the price per minute of flying is the same (1 cent more with lipos). I know that there are many variables so took numbers, for which i believe are not too big or too small.

I asked and was told the one with the pipe on the right (tail toward you) was the first prototype while the production model will be on the left. I was lucky enough to live in LA and drove down to the field yesterday after I was told they were out test flying a production model. After much begging , I was allowed to take it up and I want one! I tried to peek under the canopy but it was a no no! Understandable but hey they allowed me to fly the bird. I was scared deep S**T because I don't want to be known as the guy who crashed the heli.

This is an ages old battle, the person posting can always sway the numbers in favor of their bias ? Cool Power at my LHS is $24.99 for 30%, $18.99 for 15%, Outrage XP 3000 mAH packs are on sale for $179.99?
7 Gallons of Nitro= 128 oz 21.3 flights per gallon X 7= 149 flights

Looks to me like you are getting half again as much?

If your retort will be “I can get Zippy’s for 100 bucks”, then yes you can, but they are 3300, and I can get Cool Power 15% for 2/3 the cost and get the same power loss you will have carting that brick around!

I am just playing the Devils advocate here, I love my 500CF and I have a pile of lipos, but I would love to see an over powered nitro 500!
