Hello all.............

I am new to this and know enough to be dangerous......(actually, I know nothing!)

I understand the whole 90' linkage theory, but when using better arms (singles) that dont line up, is it an issue to center them with subtrim? Does subtrim affect servo travel in either direction?

Is it always a good idea to set up for your max pitch range (mechanical setup) and tone it down in the pitch curve?

I know there will be more, but thats the issue for now............

If you cant set the arms perfect then yes center them with sub trim.

your other option is to get programmable digital servos and set it that way.

I would say yes because that way you know that you're not going to exceed the mechanical setup and have stuff binding, even when you want to make the heli more agressive in it's performance.

Definitely set up for max pitch/ deflection without binding from the start. Later down the road it's just a couple clicks in your radio to make it a little hotter rather than having to redo your mechanical setup.
