i am looking at the E620 raptor for my next heli. i am doing research to understand better what i need.
now, these are the parts that i need to get:
Propulsion System - Brushless Motor 6S–(No.2379 OBL 43/11-30 H) - 10S–(No.2380 OBL 49/08-50H), Speed Control 6S–(No.8043 ACE BLC-75) - 10S–(ACE BLC-65), Li-poly battery 6S~10S
i am still new so let me see if i get this right. if i get a 6s lipo then i need to get the 6s motor and esc, right? so on the lipos, i could get 2 3s or 2 5s and put them in a series?

now i also need this:
Radio Set - Transmitter (6 or more channels), Servo x4, Receiver, Battery, Switch Harness, Gyro
now not sure which gyro or servos to get. how do you know what size heli they are for? anybody have a link to find them?
any way let me start there... thanks

First,

The 620SE run best on 10S, 6S system are better for 550 size.

10S–(No.2380 OBL 49/08-50H)
10S–(ACE BLC-65), Li-poly battery 6S~10S
This is what you need.

As for a 10S pack, use two 5S in serie, preferably in the 3700-5000mAh range.

The 620SE use standard servos, look for digital with bearings.
The futaba 9252 or 9452 are very good servos and there's always a set or two in the classified here. Lots of others servos with lesser specs will also do, choose something to suit your flying style/budget.

Gyro: Futaba gy401 is another good example, again you can find one here. You'll also need a tail servo, the S9254 is a good match with the gy401.

For the E620 an 8s to 10s setup is the way to go.

The E620 has an eCCPM control system so you will need some digital servos and a good gyro.

If you want a more efficient and durable power system you could upgrade to a Scorpion HK4025-740 motor and CC HV85 ESC.

Most people don't use a Rx batt on an electric Heli. Just run the ESC and BEC. off the main batt pack. I would use a CC. HV-85 ESC and a Western Robotics #WRL-HBECHC. The only benefit with a Rx pack is if your main pack goes out you will still have control of your Heli. With the BEC. you will convert the incoming voltage of your main batt pack down to 5-6volts to run your electronics. BTW the CC. HV ESCs do not have a internal BEC.

ok, question: CC. HV-85 ESC is that the Castle Creations PHOENIX-85 High Voltage Electronic Speed Control?

what is the difference between, 90° E-CCPM control system 140° E-CCPM control system? which is better?

Yes on the ESC. Stay away from the 140 swash, it is better but the two rear balls are long and only have a 2mm. thread and they break easily. I would consider two upgrades, PVO499 SUS Tail Hub(safety) and PVO567 Metal Frame Spacer.

It will come with a 9T pinion. Your final choice of pinion will depend on the motor you choose.
