Is anyone running the Jive 80+HV on 6S without over amp issues?

I can't see you ever over loading the Jive 80HV. For extra security if it is getting warm you can bond a heatsink to it.

Well I am getting a constant flashing LED light on the Jive when ever the ESC see a couple of amp spikes that are over 100 amps. This is on the 650L motor on 6S. Temps are not over 105 F. For packs, motor or ESC.
I am governed at 80% 2100-2200 RPM.:

What’s the minimum voltage for the 80HV? I could be that the 100 amp spike caused the voltage drop too low and the ESC went into limbo.

16 - 50 volt for the HV. The 80 LV would be better suited to 6s, 6 - 25 volt but it shold still be fine.

I would drop a pinion size and just run it at 100% without governor. It will bring that spike current down.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Is it heatsinked, based on where you live this could be issue. Also did you do the programming for it?
Are you running flat throttle curves and staying in those modes in which you have the flat curves programmed into?

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Flat TC 80% = 2150 RPM idle & idle 2
I programmed the ESC using both program cards 1&2
Peak amps 108
Avg amps 47
Lowest Voltage at peak amps 19.69
ECS temp 97-105 degrees
Motor temp 108 degrees

What pinion are you using to get this
I am governed at 80% 2100-2200 RPM.:
These numbers dont seem to make sence on 6S with that motor at 80%
