Not exactly "different" he flies just like all the other newer hotshots..
"hyper and shock" like a raped hummingbird..

/snore.. watch Curtis or Nick Maxwell you want to see "different"

this new "Young Guns" style of 3D is really a turn off once you see 1 tick tock or piroflip youve seen them all.

It does say super performance 3D helicopter on the box? Was that not super performance flying? Different disciplines for different folks.I was commenting that because AS is the only one I have seen flying it?

Yes I have seen Bert fly..like I said.. seen one "hyper" 3d guy seen them all..
Jason Krause, Alan Szabo jr, Bert.. etc. they all fly that bang the sticks "shock" 3d that's just not graceful and all of them look the same.

I much prefer the much more graceful styles of Curtis and Nick. there are very few 3d guys that fly with that style these days.
yet a billion doing the stick slamming shock 3D..

Bert can fly about any style he wants... Nokidding!

Y can call it out and he will do any thing that comes out of you mouth, Im no bert cheer leader, but the man can fly!!!

And I agree Curtis and nick r also very very amazing pilots.

Just me 2 cents

Its not that he cant fly smooth or do any move in the book.. its just that style... You cannot compare the styles of the 2 people..
CY just flies different than the rest of the 3d guys out there.. its a much prettier almost choreographed routine everything completely flows and its almost like watching a ballet.

guess that extra smoothness and big air comes from his F3C/FAI background. sorry.. yes he is my "Heli Hero" for sure.

Thats Nick.. and flying a "hyper" setup bird the Furion.. like the new Pro is just a shock and awe bird. and that's why its winning vs the Rave indoors. and Yes I detest that style..its less of a helicopter and more of a UFO when they fly that crap. I'm glad Nick joined Curtis and Team Rave and is flying alot more like him these days.

Watch CY fly the Rave or his 90.. or hell anything else. and youll see what I'm talking about.. its a unique style.

i give props to anybody that can do hard 3d with any style.

helis is a very hard thing to stay in to and learn.

Videos like that are purely to show off the speed and power of whatever heli is about to be released they are not competition freestyle flights so they are not to show what the pilot is capable of, just the machine.

60% of the time, it works every time!

^^^ I agree.
I have seen vids of Bert flying smooth 3D which I tend to like more.

But this 450 sure looks like it gonna be an awesome performing machine regardless

USN, Curtis and names you mention are top end pilots no doubt, however I feel Bert is as well. If you do not think it takes alot of skill to be in control while flying at that pace, I can tell you and assure you it takes a ton of skill. Bert and all these so called stick bangers as you call them can fly as smooth and precise as you like, they simply have an attraction to this particular style of flying which IMHO takes as much skill if not more then some of what you feel is better. Of course an each to their own thing, everyone has a taste of what style and set they like in flying this is fine. I just feel there is no need to make it like Bert, ASJ etc style is crap, cause it's not at all...... imho.

BTW the Furion is not just a shock and awe bird, I have one of those to and a Rave, the Furion can roll actually abit cleaner then the Rave to be truthfull.

As Richard states these prmo vids especially are intended to show what the machine can take, do that same flight with a blade 400 or honey bee, it would have blown up in 10 Seconds if not less.....

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
