I know some people that have used the HS-82MG but they aren't very good and don't last that long. They have all since went with Futaba S3155, S9650 or Hitec HS-5245MG.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

readheli has the Futaba S3155 servos for $49.99 each and the S9650 are $59.99 each. They also have the Hitec HS-5245 for $47.99 each. Not sure if these are the cheapest prices but they do have them all.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I used the Hitec 82's on cyclic for a couple of months (couldn't afford anything better at the time)on my Trex 500 for training. No 3D and they were ok for learning. As Patrick says, they are not great. I eventually upgraded to hitec 5245's, much better servo also more expensive!

I've been flying 82MG for 4 months. They have 45 flights (sport flying, learning, no maneuvers) and one of them simply does not center well....
Have you guys heard about JR3517? They are expensive, but...

This is good stuff.
I'm using Align DS510's and a DS520.
They seem to do OK for me but I only do some very mild 3D.

Probably okay forlearning but most who try them evenyually replace them with better servos. I'd say just buy the better ones from start, even when learning theprecisin and better centering helps.
