I started on tt in my century's, nothing but troubles, beeing a noob and all, switched to alighn,s and compasses, and swifts, out of 16 belt helis the only failure i had was on a swift16 where the front pulley wore all it's teeth off, but 500 flights ona plastic pulley, what can you expect.
But now as I'm getting over my century tt phobia, I'm come back around to tt, after some good experiances with my recent alighn tt's, I'm seeing tt conversions in my future, they defenitly have a performance advantage IMO.

Century heli rep. To much power is never enough.

I really wonder how people get so bent over these arguments?

Belts work, TT's work. JR, Spektrum, Futaba, and Airtronics make good radios. I fly Electric, Nitro, and Gasoline, and like them all.

Most blonds used to be brunettes.

I still like my Kalt, but I can't get any parts, so I will have to join the 21st century, and buy another kit. At least the servos, receiver, and engine will still be usable.

This vs that is entertaining, but in my view, we spend too much time worrying about little details, and not enough time flying.

But in case you are interested, I don't like belt driven tails. Not any reason other then I don't have any, so they must be bad.

But I am going to get a Pentara, and it has a belt. So then belts will be ok. Get it?

Ain't that the truth.

Back on topic though, a belt is functional as proven by all the guys who can 3D their butts off without issue. It just comes down to personal preference.
