Isn't that a GMP Logo on the side in the pictures in the first post?
nope! thats what i used to see on the box the schluter machines came in. it may very well be a schluter machine after all. they were several differences in the fuses over the years. i had a 60 size jetranger once where the main body was fiber/epoxy class and the removable fornt was all lexan!

Looking at the tail rotor area it looks like a cap should fit into the recessed edges along the opening. Is this normal?
I would guess with the wire exposed that this is a wire drive tail rotor, any ideas on what type may fit without butchering the tail?

I builded some super scales for 20 years ,to my understand is the most 60 size mechanic will fit for that fuse,you need to rework some formers to fit the mechanic and tail unit in, try to use the torque tube , forget the wire drive, easy to work with .

Thank you son nguyen,
I will start looking around for a torque tube and suitable air frame.
I wonder if MA makes a 60 size stratus with a torque tube?

OK guys, Helirobbe from the Netherlands says;

"This is a 59 inch Robbe Magic Jet Ranger (bell 206), and has been designed for the Robbe Magic Mech. Therefor it is a 60 size fuse."

This makes sense with the other info I received.

Thank you Helirobbe.

Hi Watersteps,

The fuse is a Jet Ranger fuse, made in the early 90's. Spare parts are not longer available from Robbe (Schlüter became part of Robbe in the mid 90's). I'm restoring this ranger right now myself with an old Schlüter Mech. Here are some pics...

Enjoy........

Well it looks like I may go with the belt drive tail rotor, it seams they have a longer life span then the torque drive parts.

OK we know what it is, a Robbe Magic Ranger, now I could use a fuse manual is anyone wants to sell one.

OK here it is with the paint off, it is a 3 pc shell, the main fuse is split down the middle, length wise, and the top shrould. All I need is a wide set of skids, maybe 12 inches wide and a tail rotor cone. The cone is the most important, anyone have one for sale? Look at the eariler pictures to see the tail.
