Is there a AW-139 or a Koala scale kit out anywhere
Yes skyraider42, as january flyer said. Thunder Tiger Currently makes an A-119 Koala, it is quite nice and comes painted Deep red. It has very scale appearance and nice detail, but for extreme scale detail you need to add little things to it like i am right now.

Last night i finally go the T600E mechs installed and now i have some minor modifications and should be finished with the build in about 2-3 days now.

I am doing some custom fabs and whatnot to it like side step bar on the skids, WSPS (Wire Cutters), Blacked out Windows, Panel Lines, I also widened the landing skids by 30mm to give it more stance and a better scale look. Other things will follow, but the biggest challenge for me on this build has been getting the T600E mechs to fit this fuse, since it was designed for a Raptor Titan Nitro. Anyway, check out my gallery to see some of the build photos along the way. She should be done in a few day, (if all goes well)

Take care.
Cheers,
Clint

Very nice!!! Thanks for posting.

I am assuming you meant for me to click the other link on the page where it actually says AB139?

is actually
The VH-71 Kestrel, a variant of the AgustaWestland AW101 (formerly EH101) Both are awesome heli's, but you gotta love the 139!

Thanks again K2-Tokyo, great stuff!!!

I've got to say, yes it does look appealing, especially the size but for the real keen eyes, it doesn't look that scale. The nose is not that pointed and the spacing between the rear of the cabin door and the back of the fuse where it slopes inwards is to long. The tail also is lacking the true copy of the real machine. Most of the fuselages that Heli-Factory produce are like this.

Just my 2 cents...

Craig.

If I knew anything about building my own fuse, I probably would. I have both Autodesk 2011 and Solidworks 2010... Oh well, I will be buying a Bell 430 from Vario because the A-109 is not large enough to hold everything, not to mention it is a K2 and not a power...

Hi Wolferz

I don't have any computer program to use either but I do have the reak machine to compare my drawings to though and this helps alot. My AW139 project started off with a 3-Veiw drawing I aquired from AW, I had it blown up to 1.8m scale then went from there. The key to anything like this is maintaining accuracy right from the start. I have spent many hours studying both the aircraft and many reference photo's just to get things looking perfect.

Proof will be in the finished product.

Cheers

Craig.

I may have to enlist your services at a future date. As I said, I've not a clue what to do with the plug after I mold it, lol

AW-139

Hi guys!
Here is my own agusta 139. It's 600 size, but the project is still unfinished. I'm still making a mold. http://heli.waldorf.pl/viewtopic.php?t=6966

More on the AW139 project.

Molds are now complete, fine sanding has been carried out to all surfaces, several coats of wax will now be applied before the first lay-up begins.
