hey Art...long time no see. the K3D is is pretty ballistic with the stock head...that skookum might be toooo much man! i'd like to see a flybarless K3D fly though.

haha....maaaaybe, well not the $ and chics part. the K3D is light and quick, flybarless might make it a little hard to handle....but that's not neccesarilly a bad thing!

But you can dial it down to tame it till I figure it out....if not the whole thing will drop right in the N600 in just a couple of minutes....

that's true...but i suggest you fly the K3D stock 1st. folks that have flown mine say "damn!! put some expo on that thing!" haha....huh? what's expo? but you know how it is, we tune our helis to fit our style.

What throttle servo is everyone using with the tail fronting kit?
Align DS520. Just grind the servo bracket a bit.

I finally got to put some time on the build this weekend.....man is this a sweet build. The head is silky smooth. The only issue I am having is the motor brace on the neck of my TT.53 ....it just dosent sit square on the boss. Just the slighrest angle ont it.....no binding, the clutch turns free. Any body else have this issue with a TT .53?

You need to dremel the collar so that it sits flat, if you search around here you will find a pic that shows it.
