The ditch claimed 13 victims (helis) today and the event doesn't even officially start until tomorrow

There was one TREX 250 that went *completely* underwater only to be recovered by the pilot having to wade in a look for it. An additional 3 helis were claimed by the water.

I have a cool pic to post with a guy that put his heli in tail first and it went about half a foot into the soft clay and stuck straight up in the air, funny sh*t!

Well,

Dylan and I got home at midnight last night. I just wanted to say we had a great time at this funfly! It was a pleasure to meet new people and see some old friends as well. There was some awesome flying all day. This is one we want to go back to next year!

Freakin awesome turnout, awesome weather, awesome flying!

Thanks everyone for coming, it was a blast, see you next year!

Another great event!!! It seems every year I have more fun than the last. Collin Bell (is that how you spell his name?) hung out with us on Sunday and really took the time to chat it up, what a great pilot.

The Bobby Watts crash was insane! We have about a foot deep perfect circle in the ditch where his model just tilled itself round and round for about 3 minutes. The crowd just watched and cheered as it kept going, and going, and going, and going, and going.

Matt Botos flew the crap out of everything he had with his usual grace and smack-down style, he destroyed his logo in a very satisfying manner and demoed the prototype Synergy N5, it looks like it flies on rails just like the Synergy N9! Matt's style is my favorite and he was friendly as always.

Tyler Bonta was there smaking it down with his Fueled By Hate modified N9, wow.

Also Joe Scott was ripping though the sky at mach 10 with his blood-orange colored Trex 700 Nitro all weekend, wow, this kid rocked.

Thanks everyone for a great time!!!

Thanks to Bill and David for another great event. Packing up and heading home now. Awesome weekend - weather was beautiful and there was some fantastic flying (and a couple of splashes). And getting to watch Bill K put the hammer down with his N9's was just icing on the cake . Bill - those things better not still be looking brand new next year

I figured...

The skids have to leave the ground first before they can be smacked back down

I think Bobby Watts' crash (AKA the chicken dance) was the best one I've seen.
Does anyone have a video they can post on this crash??

Had a great Time

Had a great time this weekend. Watched lots of cool tricks. Seen some really nice scale birds. Got the training gear off the Rappy 30. Absolutley a fantastic weekend. This was my first Funfly and will certainly put this one on the list for next year. Me and the crew from Atlanta had a great time. BTW my son tore up the Tmax from running it so hard all weekend. He also had a blast.
