I am a Heli addict!!!

No fly zones for full size helis for a few years now. "Oiks" chartered a heli a while ago and forced the pilot to land in the exercise yard at Gartree making off with several inmates.
Most now have wire cables over the yards to prevent it happening again.

Yes, it truly would have been very neat! However, the authorities in the UK do not let us play with guns. IIRC the screws are not armed, only the Police Armed Response Units...and the Army.

It's bad enough trying to buy new Airsoft guns in this country these days because the law abiding citizens are easy prey for a spineless government who will not tackle the criminals carrying the REAL firearms. Hell, I'm surprised we still have one of the best, if not THE best Special Forces organisations in the world (the SAS) with the way our glorious leaders impose the nanny state...

Great, plant another stupid Hollywood scenario in the minds security gestapo types around the world and soon we will have to have a background check and an FAA license to fly R/C helis. Already had
DHS threaten a friend with a photo camera ship. Seems "W" was coming to town, their electronic survey spotted his heli in his side yard and "knock knock" we're here to shut you down. Informed he would need a transponder and have to file a flight plan for any future flying. Alluded to the fact that his operation was a commercial venture and the FAA might like to look up his backside and do a sphincter inspection. Needless to say he sold all his equipment and gave up on helis.

Sooner or later some A Hole will use this type of thing for something nasty...THEN watch the authorities start clamping down on this sport/hobby!

There is NOTHING funny about this. I can see it now.. we're all shut down by the government because one jackass uses a radio control helicopter to do something like this. This is just what we DO NOT want to see. The government has already taken a look at the RC hobby as a possible security threat. We can only hope that nothing like this happens again, and certainly nothing worse.

I realy have to agree this state Washington is already trying to take my other toy from me Fire works yep im one of those guy's that like to get 30-40 cases of fireworks and have a party were safe have a realy good place to play with them and clean-up ower own mess.
