I also manufacture motors and I'll be up front that i don't have a R&D department. If I did, I would have had to take a huge loan that I would never be able to pay back and the business more than likely would have never gotten off the ground.
So instead, you give away a few motors in the beginning to folks that like to try new stuff. They know it's a risk, but they really couldn't care less. Then after a few months of guys flying the free motors, most of the bugs get ironed out and everybody is happy. Problems that pop up after this are probably related to quality control, or the buyers misuse of the product. Either way, in my experience the best way to get any problem straightened out is to post on the forums with a curious attitude and the answer will present itself much faster. If after giving it your best and you still are unsatisfied, then it may be best to switch to a different motor. I personally have a high opinion of neumotors. Only a handful of motor manufacturers actually frequent forums and Steve deserves a lot of credit for posting here at all.
