Move the mechanical parts over. Then read this post ! Read the last post of RCFan since the process changed slightly from the top.

Sending a radio in from Malaysia may not be that easy !

If you go into the various throttle and pitch curve menus in the 12Z, you'll find multiple choices for the types of curves (linear, spline, etc..) as well as total functionality in your ability to manipulate the points on those curves. Though I don't have a 12FG in front of me, the 12FG is more limited in the options and functionality of those menus as compared to the 12Z. I'm not saying the 12FG is going to tie your hands. It's still exceedingly flexible. I'm only describing a distinction between the two radios.

actually I believe the 12fg does the throttle curve and pitch curve the same as the 12z from what I've seen. There really is no difference in the radios aside from the case at least any that warrant any amount of money.

I bought the 12Z specifically because it does SPLINE curves and the 12FG does not. You 3D guys who don't even use curves might as well buy the 12FG.

Merlin FYI the 12fg has 3 types of curves on pitch and throttle. The 12z has 6 types.

So dose the 12fg have the swash plate interaction mixing available like the 12z has? That's the only feature that makes me want to get rid of my 9303, that and back lighting for night flying.

I thought that the 12z and 14 mz are the only 2 that can do that. But if the new 10 series will I'm in.
