Hi Guys,
I usually have a regular engine where I drain all the fuel and crank the engine until all the fuel has been burnt and then put the ship away. I recently just got a cline setup for my HZ and running it in my Stratus. I was wondering if you guys run the engine dry with a cline or you just leave the fuel in the carb?. If you run it dry..how do you do it? pinch off the fuel line...etc?

Thanks,
Bub

When I was running mine, Ijust shut the throttle. Never pinched it.

Why Hover a Yak, when a Heli does it better?

I run mine dry and then use after run oil d/t the humidity where I live, but that practice has nothing to do with the Cline per se. Leftover fuel in the reg causes no problem or deterioration.

What you do NOT have to do with a Cline is run a fuel cutoff since the design of the reg definitively shuts off fuel to the engine when the engine is stopped.
