You should be fine. I have been running AR6000 on my Lepton for about 2 years and have had no problems.

Keep it close, the AR6100/AR6100E are park flyer class receivers, and have shorter operating range than a "standard" receiver.

From the AR6100 manual:
Note: The AR6100 receiver is designed for parkflyer aircraft only. This includes all types of compact electric airplanes as well as mini and micro helicopters. While the AR6100 receiver has more than adequate range for parkflyer aircraft, it is imperative that it not be used in larger aircraft that could exceed its operational range.

I think a 500 should get at least 6200.
I wouldnt even fly 450 on a 6100.

i have used 6100 on some of my electric planks, and i let it go farther then my gas plankers without any issues, the range is not an issue, its the satelite rx that gives you the additional security.

you will never fly the Trex500 out of range of the 6100's
