A buddy of mine needs some help that is beyond all of us locally.
He has a 600E that just recently started bogging down when he punches full collective. It bogs pretty significantly.

We have done and tried the following;
Replaced the Motor
Replaced the ESC
Replaced the BEC
Tried different batteries...
Changed receivers
Tried different pitch and throttle settings
No joy...

We have swapped all the electronics to isolate a bad component... no luck

Taken a great motor, esc and bec from another 600E that punches out like a scalded dog...still bogs.

Replaced all the bearings at the main shaft.

We did all these things sequentially to remove items individually to isolate the culprit with not luck.

We have checked the torque tube, bearings and gears in the tail assembly.

We have done all of that but have not changed the main blades (V blades).

We are out of ideas...
Any wild ideas are welcomed.

How does it act when you put it in idle-up with the blades off and then pitch pump it? This may help bring a bad bearing or connection somewhere in the head that's hiding until it has some rotational forces acting on it.

WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!

do not use too much pitch not above +-11
not too much cyclic not above +-7 deg
the t600 is not capable of handling anything else beyond these numbers on 6s.

All,
Thanks for the suggested fixes so far...We have changed the one way bearing...changed the blades. They didn't work.

Then we removed the blades and spooled up both normal and idle up...there was still the noticable lack of high rpm above 3/4 stick.

So it does it totally unloaded. We also moved the motor off of the main gear...same result.

The mystery continues.

I agree with Dieselracer about the Align 600D's! Awesome blades! Is it cold where you fly? If so try warming your packs before flying, you get much better performance. I have +/-13 collective and +/-10 cyclic and mine doesn't bog on 6s!

60% of the time, it works every time!

Check to make sure the motor is tight both the two screws holding it and also the plate itself. Also can it be possible that the aluminum collar on the main shaft is too tight on the top bearing?

What setup are you using? I started with 5s & 12t pinion. It bogged a lot when I give it +9 pitch. But after changing to 13t, my 600E climbed fast enough at +9. I will try 14t next weekend. Trying pinions with more teeth might help.
