Today is warm and nice and all the battery were charged so went to flew it out. With apartment building burn down now i have a lot of room to fly right out side from my apartment.

Starting to get lazy 8's better, pretty much that all I was working on today.

Sun is going down, clouds are moving in, Last pack, flew fast forward and did high elevation and it kinda got a way too far from me to see.

Then radio started to glitch, heli bounce up and down then complete lost of control!! I ran toward the heli, able bring it back close by behind the apartments with a lots of trees then I notice, there is no throttle response, I guess it was just doing autorotate, Then it landed into the trees.

2 Blades, SeeSaw, a pitch link and lost the Canopy in trees, Took me a lot of shoveling to find the battery in snow. Radio/Motor seem to be fine.

I'm using Futaba 6exh FM with Esky RX. I also have Futaba PCM RX but for some reason I never install it even between all kinds of rebuilds...

Wow,i know how you feel Zaw.Waiting on parts myself.Had yet another Head failure while hovering, went inverted and crashed in the only water within 75 feet!! My luck! Good thing is i think i have figured out why. The head dampers,i could move the blades up & down a good 1/8 inch!!Maybe putting to much stress on the linkage?? Anyway that's what i'm guessing.

Zaw, will you install the Futaba RX?

Will you range test the E-Sky RX to verify the cause?

BTW, sounds tough, glad things are fixable.

My recent crashes hasn't been pilot error, last one, link pops off and now this. I installed the RX already I have 2 more of them see saw things I ordered them because they seem to be always breaking. I have stainless Spindle Shaft. and seem to be holding up well with all the crashes.

I range checked the Esky RX before and it goes a lot farther then range it happens.. unless somebody in the neighborhood got a heli for Christmas.

Now ther is definitely something strangegoing on around here!

So I installed and checked all the servo's with new Futaba PCM RX last night everything was working perfectly.. I spin it up with flybar only, everything seems fine. Then it started to glitch a bit but battery was at like 9.0V on TX figure it was low battery thing put everything away and went to sleep.

Tonight with all battery charged...

Using Futaba Crystal, 72.190 RX/TX. Today I wanted to work on setting up the pitch, I could not get them to register to each other.

Get the Esky RX (also 72.190), hook up the esc and a servo to rudder put the TX to PPM and it registered fine. Servo moves, motor spin up etc.

Then put the TX to PCM, plug those ESC and Servo to Futaba RX and now its registered fine with Futaba.
Do servo check, Servo's were moving very slow and jittery then motor started to spin up by it self tipped over, damaged brand new blades!

I have generic 72.150RX/TX, installed those and they register and work without any glitches. I turn it on and off a few time, no glitch so far. Left it on for 15min with motor unplugged seems to be OK and responding to my cyclic inputs normal.

hmmmm... Weird.. bad crystals?

Yeah, I live in a cave and we use rocks for currency, which don't worth anything in real world.

I found a another 72mzh RX generic one and seem to work fine.. also esky ones is also seem to be working fine, better then stupid futaba PCM rx, which used to work on BladeCP which been grounded months.

I thought it was the servo's I'm using so I put in servo's from bladecp and they work for a sec then don't. Oh well. Just gotta keep in range I guess.

If I go with 2.4ghz there will be BrownOuts so it doesn't matter and still won't make my fly better. Unless it comes with a buttons that rebuilt everything and let me do tricks with press of a button.
I have Car radio specky 2.4 and it glitches time to time.
