looks like a flybar locking device. If not, I think it looks ideal to lock your flybar.

That is a flybar lock tool for sure.... I could never afford such a fancy tool so I just used a pice of aluminum with 2 hooks on it that would span the head on my excel 60 it worked great and it was free.... I will have to see if I still have it in the shop....

Tom..... No "D" flying....

norsman has an old tool!!!

So why did todays heli pilots stop doing all this stuff? When I started building my Eco8 the manual went through a lot of setup nobody no longer does. When I did my raptor I didnt have a flybarlock I used there neat little pitch gauge molded into the frame it worked great.

But I did do a full blade setup on the woodies started with finding blade CG anybody do that anymore? Well they were pretty much balanced just a little off I added a piece of tracking tape at the CG of the lighter blade and perfection was attained.

What other setup processes like blade CG have been lost?

There you go norsy Ill get this off the topic.

No Really I am the club President!!!

Adding weight to the blade tip is another lost art. Covering your own blades has gone to the factory guys.... Sorry to hear about your old tool Norsman.......
