I just installed the align metal upper bearing blocks in the 600e with carbon frames. The control shaft that goes between them for the elevator has a lot of endplay now on the outer levers. The block thickness looks the same. Am I missing something or is adding shim washers the standard for this upgrade? Thanks

I actually had to add a shim washer when using my stock plastic bearing blocks.

I have the same as missle, used shim washers with the stock plastic blocks. I'm sure the metal blocks will also require shimming also.

What sort of problem are you guys having with the stock bearing blocks? I have been flying mine for hundreds of flights and have never had a problem. Why the need to upgrade – is it just one of those bling things or what?
