Hi Guys,

Something strange is happening to our helis and I dont have any explanation anymore...

After trimming our helicopters T-Rex 700's perfectly with the Trueblood Swashplate leveler also ATV on max pitch and low pitch the heli hover perfectly and no trim is needed.

Now we fly the heli up high and start to do a stall fall with the tail down and the heli starts turning to the right (aileron) without touching the sticks.

The strange thing is that it happens to all four of them and one wasnt setup with that tool so it has nothing to do with that.

If I trim it one point to the left the heli goes to the left

Does this have an explaination or Iam I doing algo wrong

Sounds very n00b but hope you can help me

Regards,
Dave

Try doing the trick again and make sure the collective is CENTERED! If there is any slight negative pitch, it'll roll right. If there's any slight positive, it'll roll left. Due to translational lift. That would be my first guess.

Thanks guys, no wind today. I will do the same process again tonight to my heli to check if something varies.

Stick was perfectly centered and trims and subtrims all at 0.

Hi Quantum!

Finally the solution was quite easy, I noticed that my tail case on all my helis was a little to the right, this to the fact that the hole made in the tail boom is not really centered. So I needed to cut a small piece of the plastic part going into the tail boom and fixed the tail case straight on.

Now the Heli fells just straight down from the air with any roll...

Thanks again for all the help!

Regards,
Dave
