Everyone seems pleased with the radio, but I haven't heard any comments about the $599 price tag. I bought my 9C radio less than 2 years ago, complete with 4 9252 servos, for $599. You all know the price of these servos. How can Futaba gets $599 for radio less servos?

i've seen a 10C and i think it's well worth the cost.
the pricing at Tower is really fair, and with special discounts it is easily had at around $500.00.
the thing that makes the 10C look like a bogus deal at this time is the 12FG which is going for not much more than a 10C.

a lot has gone into the 10C and it's a much faster radio than the 9C.

Now listed at 549.99 at Tower. Couple that with the $50 off discount and you could have it for around 500. The 12FG is also being offered at an incredible price.

What $80 code? It is not listed on the website. Only $50 off for a $500-$599.99 purchase.

Even with that low pricing, I would spend the slight extra and get the 12fgh, just my opinion. I'm sure the 10c is a great radio.

"a lot has gone into the 10C and it's a much faster radio than the 9C"
Since the transmit/receive frame rate is fixed by protocol at 20ms, how is the 10C faster and how does that affect control?

busyflying, I know what you are talking about. Its amazing how other technology has advanced from the time futaba moved from the 9c to the 10c, which is a good 7 years. With such little improvement(other than the latency thingy) over the 9c, you would at least assume the price would have stayed similar, but apparently not so. Oh well, I guess thats the way this hobby works.

No, I am not a futaba hater and yes, I own both the 9c and 10c to know how little the advancement is.

Close, but still no cigar. Man, I want one of these but I'd rather spend the money on another heli.

469.99 shipped isn't low enough? I paid 775 and got a 40 dollar merchandise certificate when I bought my 12fgh. Its worth the money to me and I'd rather have a good radio than another heli, but of course, I still managed to buy a couple of other helis.

Man, I miss the eighties.
