I picked up a used 1005 gasser and am replacing a bent spindle. I took it apart and layed all the bearings, washers, snap rings and shims on my bench in order than bumped them to the floor. CRAP!!! Can anyone tell me the order the shims and washer and snap rings go in, starting from the o-ring dampers on the head out?

This should contain the info you need....

http://www.rchelibase.com/xcell/1005drawings.pdf

In fact, go here and scroll down about 1/2 way to find your 1005 Gasser.... you'll be able to download the entire manual, etc...

http://www.rchelibase.com/xcell/

BTW, Google is a wonderful tool....

I already printed the manual from that site. It doesn't show the snap ring or the shims that mine has.

Maybe the previous owner can assist ?? Perhaps he "upgraded" to a newer spindle ???

The PDF drawing you downloaded should be good enough for a reference..... and it should be obvious where the snap ring goes as it has to be installed in the groove....

Another option is to give Miniature Aircraft a call. I'm sure they can help you figure it out.

Good luck.

Go back to my site and look at the Fury Extreme manual. You have the new clipped blade axel.
