slider, are you tapping the trim button or just holding it down? The trim only responds to repeated taps for adjustment; otherwise you could hold it down all day with no results.

I've had quite a few of these things with a couple of duds. Mostly they work great and are more than worth a trip or two to the return counter 'til you get a good one.

Once you get a good one you'll be surprised how much fun they are.

I will try your suggestions today and see if I can get the piro to stop.... I have tapped the trim button thru an entire flight with no changes it only adjusts so far, I can slow it down and almost stop it with full right rudder and trim........

Dang Santa he drops off these junk gifts and he's gone and the adults spend the next two weeks fixing them.

better let the nephew know its done. I dropped the tail in water and run it for a couple minutes trying to clean any dirt or carbon buildup out. Then added some oil and got a few more flights out of it till it did it again.

One of my second cousins 13 year old boy got one this year same size not by airhogs it was an actual pod and boom with a metal flybar and weights. It also did something I thought was neat they used the same motor for main and tail.

looked something like this.
