You would prob. be pushing it with that controller with a 16T pinion.

However OICU812 would be the one to know for sure.

With the Align ESC's you want to run it as close to 100% as possible for efficiency. I would drop a pinion if you wanted less amp draw and longer flight times as well as stress the ESC as little as possible.....Ron

Personally I would not run that Align ESC. That is my suggestion, regardless of motor and pinion. I would save some dough and get a used 80-6-18 Jazz or something.

I do not want to sound cheap, but that is the scary part.
The speed controllers are more expensive than the Helicopter.
And we have not mention the Jive. This is close to 400.00 dollars and it is out stock.

why two lipos as such in photos? Are you running those in parralell or just have one hanging out in there for now? Since you got that ESC all mounted up, then give it a shot. But if you are doing some tame flight with it and see temps on the esc after just landing over 120 then I would be leary and make a decision then.

Egg isn't my intention to scare you.
I had a two in one Align (looked similar to the one in the Picture)in my Raptor, a year ago, and the Capacitor fell. Align claimed that I had too much vibration, but I know I did not have any. I stopped using Align because I was not the only one having problems.
In my opinion, spend the money in a good German Speed control.

Ouch-

Yeah, just in there for the photos

If the CG is right, I will wire them in Parallel(double mAh)

I will take it easy the first few flights and up the HS untill I feel safe that its staying cool enough.

What BEC shoulf I run? How do I wire it?

If you run those in parallel you will effectively double your max amp capacity also. This would increase the potential for failure of your Align ESC. I wouldn't do that. I've also had an Align ESC fail in flight. I won't use anything but Kontronik ESC's. Their spendy but, they're unmatched in performance and reliablity.

Good luck!
