Is anyone using it? How does it compare to the ATG,Revlock30,Multigov,RCE-600 or GV1.
I like the idea of having a receiver, rpm limitetr and voltage reg. all in one.

I'm using it and like it but have no idea how it compares to your list. I like the clean installation and the built-in features.

dx7 setup

on the DX7 setup you have to put the gyro sensor on channel 7 because the rev limiter needs channel 5 need to turn your radio on while holding the scroll and select down. the scroll to the input select and set aux2 to gyro and gear to aux2. (Note this is the only way with a DX7). then install the sensor to the engine and test it as the instrution say to. for my setup on my pantera i have channel 5 normal, sub trim +1 ?,travel adjust on the gear 0% and 87% to get 2000 RPM on the blades and this operates with the aux2 switch. there are some videos online to help with the setup. Good luck

It is a throttle jockey revmax, you should be able to use program mixes as stated above. When i had my dx7 i used p mixes to set up my throttle jockey pro. I understand this is a revmax but it should work the same as far as limiting the head speed.

Here is a link to model avionics site for set up with the dx7

i used example #3 flight mode mixing.

I could be wrong i have only setup the 7100r with the 9303 gov function, sure makes it easy.

With the 9303 you can. On Helifreak.com Bill White also shows how to set the rev limiter up on a 9303. but he also states that on a DX7 there are no flight mode option. Because on the DX7 this only works on channel 5 and the Gyro gain is on channel 7. Thus it is on or off. using the aux 2 switch. If you want more features, you going to have to go out and buy the 9303 or better radio.
