It's cold, windy, and rainy this evening here in MA. But I hovered a LiPo pack each through my T-Rex 250, Blade 400, and Mini Titan. I find it sort of relaxing to hover and just gently maneuver around.

Christmas Eve and heli flying, it just doesn't get any better. The rest of the family is playing American Idol on the Wii. They didn't even know I was flying!!

Time to make a batch of popcorn and socialize a little.

Merry Christmas to all. And to all, a good flight!

My 250 is under the tree. I have the battery, thorp driver, new tail hub and some other build items all ready to go. The Gyro/Tail servo are under the tree as well from my bro in law. Tomorrow will be a great day. except it will be interupted at 2 to go to family friends for dinner.

Down here in warm Florida my brother in law (Fullpitch) did manage to "sneak" out for three good hours of flying today
(Before the family commintment deadline hour came around...)
Gotta love it.

I flew four flights in 65 degrees and no wind. Unbelievible for West Texas. The wind being the surprise.

It is supposed to be even nicer tomorrow so maybe a few more flights before we head out to see family on Friday. When I get back my 250 should be here and I can get it put together before the new year.

I put two packs through my 450, mostly to test my gloves that showed up in the mail today. 30F and breezy. If it's this nice tomorrow, I'm taking the nitro out, if I can during the kids nap time.

Im consoling myself with Jack Daniels lol.
I WAS gonna fly today, but a cyclone way up north has given us very strong winds.
All I could do was peep out the window while I flew the sim

For the love of the hobby

Planed to fly last evening when I got home but the wind was 20 with higher gusts to I gave it a rest. Today wind at 10 and dinner here is not until six. I have all day to play!

Merry Christmas to ALL

I flew my 250 and 450 on Christmas Eve inside. That was fun
