I have been flying a set of Radix 710's on my Synergy N9 and my 700N and love the blades. I used to fly V's for years and years before Vic started changing them up a lot. There was a guy on here selling a old V1 set of V's that he had still NIB. Never been opened. They are 700mm. I used to fly a exact pair like them on my Robbe Futura SE and Millenium for years and loved them.
I thought I'd see how much difference there is in the two blades. The 700mm blades are almost longer than the Radix 710's
The Radix barely by about 2mm at the trailing edge are longer. I wanted the shorter 700's for the 700N as it doesn't need the 710's O' well they are excellent blades, but it seems blade lengths between different companies means nothing. You have to buy them to see what you are getting. Like airplanes. I have seen 25% Ultimates and etc between companies be all kinds of different sizes. There was only one Ultimate built too so...
I think blade length should be meansured from bolt hole to blade tip, but lots of blades are not constant chord and have so many different airfoils and tip shapes I guess it is useless. My old V's are wider too at the root chord wise. They should load the engine more than the 710 Radix. Not the direction I was looking for. No knock on the seller of the blades. For a real reduction I could see I should have bought Radix 690's.
