Hi Freya_man101,

Congrats on your new Rave!

If you haven't seen the six (6) Rave instructional videos check them out here: http://www.curtisyoungblood.com/products_view.php?id=35

One important step I believe in (asside from the proper fit and setup) is to spend the time to properly size the ball links. This applies to all helicopters. All ball links should be easy to turn back and forth (with your fingers) without any binding or slop. This alone can turn a hard to control model into an easy to fly machine.

My Rave flys so smooth and gentle, yet will Kick A** whenever you ask it to.

The addendum sheets are not posted online at this time. you can send me an email at tech@curtisyoungblood.com and I can email you a copy of them on Monday. I do have a question though. where did you get the kit, and is it still in kit form? there were only a very very small handfull of kits that were sold without the addendum sheets, so now I am a little curious.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

Hi nognog_pogi,

Congrats on your new Rave!

If you haven't already done so, take a look at the 6 Rave Instructional Videos here: http://www.curtisyoungblood.com/products_view.php?id=35

These videos cover all the of building steps (in detail) including the items on the addendum. Also, you'll see everything you need to watch out for on good fit and finish on the Rave. Just following the recommendations here and it's easy to make sure your Rave is built properly.

Buzzin Brian did a outstanding job on the manual as well as these great detailed build videos.

Way to go Brian!

I would have to completely agree with RPM. Buzzin Brian is one of, no the BEST guy to work with. He really knows his stuff and is just an all around great guy. Even though that has been said before I just thought is needs to be said again.

Thanks guys. Brian, bought it used here in runryder from RCman. Also, I got some 3S packs lying around, anyone flown this on say 350 blades with 3S pack and stock motor. I really don't want to get 4S packs as I want my plane and helis share 3S packs only.

Ah ok. I know David, and I know I forwarded the addendum sheets to him after he bought his 2 Rave kits at IRCHA. So the stuff might actually be done already. That explains why there was not a factory addendum included with the machine. Its one of the "first 10" kits we released at IRCHA.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

nognog_pogi,

IMHO, the stock Scorpion -6 motor is a great choice for the 325's and it's a hot setup for 3S. I think the -6 rating of 4400KV is too high to work very well with the 350's, not to mention it would probably be a large battery drain. With the 350's the -6, I would expect it to probably overheat and fail before long.

Will probably try it with 325 then. Will just upgrade later to 4S.
