We have a heli only field in Berlin.

Awesome group of guys, no BS, no rules, just fly safely.

Great hobby shop, Rc Hobbies and More(.com) In Winsted. He has EVERYTHING!!!

You are 45 mins from me, up 15. I try to fly a lot in good weather.

I know Salem is to far for you but sometime you just want to take a drive and meet some new people let me know.
I myself go to different clubs to meet new people and for the change of scenery.
Take care, Bob

I've been to the Berlin field (once) and Jeff (Learn To Fly) is a nice friendly guy. He definitely made me feel welcome there, and all I have is a King 2

Things are changing for the swamp instead of having meetings and everyone bitchin.
You just take it out into the woods and have your own private meeting.

I belong to the Swamp flyers and fly with a great group of guys. It's a mix of planks and heli's. They have a RC heli field somewhere in Milford. Never been there but have heard they have a few very good heli pilots. Salem is a bit of a drive even from Branford. Jeff is right about the Berlin field. No BS and they have Albert. He is one of the best pilots and people I know in this hobby. You should visit all these fields. I'm a current member of The Swamp, Berlin and Salem and fly at the Swamp most often. It's close to where I live. Lot's of knowledge and heli skills at the Swamp as well. Between Benny, Rob and others at the Swamp it would be a must visit in my book. You really can not go wrong going to any of these clubs mentioned.
