I have a t6ex I have been flying with it for a year now and just noticed that when in idle up and I hit the th hold switch my pitch only goes from 0 to 10 deg. It wont go into the neg pitch. I have the radio set up like this.
N-TH 1-0% 2-25% 3-50% 4-75% 5-100%
N-PI 1-50% 2-60% 3-70% 4-80% 5-90%
I-TH 1 thru 5 at 75% (gov mode)
I-PI 1-0% 2-25% 3-50% 4-75% 5-100%

Hold % is -50% but I have tryed every thing that I can think of.

0 deg pitch is set at 50% -10 deg is set at 0% and 10 deg is set at 100%.

I noticed this because I wanted to practice autos and found that I had no neg pitch in throttle hold.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

I have a T6EXHP and noticed
when I switch to throttle hold, in idle up it reverts back to normal mode, regardless of the idle up switch position.
I have a Raptor 30 and noticed the same.
Try disconnecting the motor ( just remove 2 of the 3 wires, this will prevent the motor from operating)
then try Normal mode and idle up, and flick the throttle hold switch, on and off, and look at the blade pitch in the different modes.
I had to give normal mode about -5 degrees neg pitch at #1.

I guess that is my next question. With the t6ex do I need to run some neg pitch in normal mode to get the neg pitch in throttle hold. I am assumeing that the higher up model tx's you can program this feature.

Thanks Juggernaut for your input

You should have neg pitch in normal mode, otherwise, if a gust of wind catches the heli, it will rise up and will only come down when the rotor speed comes down considerably.
Try using -5 degrees at #1 ( now you have 50% try 35 to 40%)

Good luck.

As for me, I upgraded to 9303, this does not this inherent problem.
I use the T6ex for other heli's like my CX, and planks.

P.S.
Happy New year
