How come when the heli touches the ground in a crash situation the frame on the monitor freezes for a second or two?

It's probably your computer and graphics card trying to process the crash information and render the results. AKA: The parts and pieces flying everywhere.

It wasn't me, it was my thumbs!

What's a good video card that can process all the crash data and not momentally lockup?

I experience the same thing and I'm using two 7900 gtx 512meg cards in sli mode. I don't really thing the video card set up I'm using is too slow.

Man, I miss the eighties.

Remember that your CPU handles the processing of the physics and the GPU renders it. So, if your processor hiccups on processing the parts and pieces flying, you'll get the glitch. My computer does the same thing.

Then I am officially at a loss. May be a glitch in the software?

I think it falls to sloppy programming. I've attempted to join many multiplayer sessions. Sometimes, I get one, some times I can't connect for one reason or another. I like the one where it says the server is busy try back in two minutes. Funny I can play call of duty and join any server and not be told that its busy and to come back later. A game server is always busy. Why would the multiplayer session say its busy and to come back later? Especially, during times where you see only 1 person on that server. What is it doing that makes it so busy that it can't let anyone else join the session?

Man, I miss the eighties.
