Doing a Trex 600 nitro build and want to know if I can use Synthetic Translucent PTFE Grease.

What do you guys think.

Would it also be good for lubing other bearings.

Thanks for your help.

Yea, that PTFE stuff will work o.k. I use the tri-flow grease from Midland helis myself which has PTFE in it. The thrust races dont turn anymore than what ever amount of pitch u set up on the heli, its the side load they take when your flying and the amount of small movements they do for every rotation of the head that the grease lubricates. Hope this is of some help to you.

If it doesnt move and its meant too... use WD 40. If it moves and its not meant too...use duct tape!

Any synthetic lube that DOES NOT contail petroleum is great on a heli and bearings. Silicone grease is what I use.....Ron

Petroleum based grease will attack rubber and plastics over time. A belt breaking in flight is never good ......Ron

I use one that contains petroleum inside both my thrust bearings and normal bearings, works great. (BOCA bearings heli grease)

On my belt I use pure silicone oil.
