I am just starting out with a BeltCP v2 and would really like to do some photography/videography with it. Has anyone mounted a camera t one of these?

Any idea of the maximum payload of this heli?

When I figure out how to fly this thing, I would either like to attach a small video camera or a small digital point and shoot (my Casio S70) with some sort of anti-vibration rig.

Anyone have any insights that would help? Is a 450 just too small of a heli to do anything useful?

Thanks.

I have a 450 and I'm trying to do something nice with it...I have a rig and I just got me 350mm blades to try... I'll try 'em and give you some feedback on that

I once put a wireless video camera on a blade CP. So I guess anything is possible!

So what's a hvx170 weigh? I'm guessing it's a regular size video camera? HD Camera?

Does anyone have a definitive payload max on a BeltCP v2?

Forget about adding a camera until you have mastered flying the thing without....

BigguyOZ: Probably sound advice.. I'd rather not [you know what] in the first place, destroy a camera and the repair price just went through the roof..

I would like to "prepare" ("luck favors the prepared" and all) with a little engineering and/or planning though..

I've carry a 6.5oz camera with a Trex450v2 and it's just OK a best. I don't think a Blade will have quite as much oomf as a Trex, so keep the weight down. Keep flight times short as consumption goes way up with the added weight. Oh, and make sure it's a cheep camera cause your chances of crashing are 99% unless you can fly pretty good.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
