I am about to buy Logo 500 DX heli. First I try to improve my flying skills with 5S batteries I already have a few (Flightpower 3700-5350 mAh). Now I am asking what headspeed would be appropiate? (Which pinion to purchase) I am interested in Scorpion HK4020 Motor with kv 1100. Some opinions needed

Anything around 2000-2400RPM is good. I would honestly spent the little extra for the 3D kit, its much better and will last a very long time and stay slop free.

If you take a DX you're saving money on the wrong side. Things like thrust bearings are essential in my opinion!

Another vote for the 3d. It's a better investment in the long run.

Thanks for your replies.
A logo dx coming... but you must be right. I have to cope with the DX.
A quick decision. But prices in pounds are now very affordable for euro consumers They must soon raise their prices in UK!?
With 20T pinion. (wrong again?). Gives 1700 rpm and something according to a web calculator. And Mikado web page suggested something like that.

I have one pair of 550mm blades. Should I use 500mm blades instead, is there a big difference?

Another question: I read it is possible to use mid-size servos with logo 500, isn't it? That's what i read. My QuickWW 16 is forced to donate its equipment, Hitec HS 5245 servos and Futaba 401+9254. The quick heli has too limited battery space dimensions.
