I am finishing up my 600NP, and curious about the tail blades and paddles that came with it. Are these worth keeping?? Or, do any of you have a good suggestion for a replacement?

I fly mild 3D, FFF, big loops, hurricanes and funnels.

This is my first T-Rex, so I thought I better ask.

Thanks for the help.

I sold another one to Terrafirma...... wife wants to know where the money's at!!!!

If you 600NP has these tail blades:

I've found they work great. No problems here.

If you have these stock paddles:

They work OK, however, that darn Trex 600 sticker that you need to put on the top and bottom surface eventually loses its adhesive (well, the stuff turns to goo) due to oil from the exhaust, and peels off. I replaced some with trim Monokote, it lasted about as long. Since I didn't want to have to keep replacing stickers, I dumped the stock paddles for a set of these Align paddles:

And have been very satisfied with they way they handle.

Probably the BEST upgrade you could do to your 600NP would be to dump the plastic main rotor grips in favor of a set of these:

The "New" metal grips are much superior to the standard plastic grips.

For paddles I use the 3MM version of the MA white paddles that are used on the Stratus. They are cheap, like $8.00 or so and they work great in FF and 3D. Much nicer than the stock (sticker) Aligns.

Well, I have the all CF tail blades but they are not white... they are clear coat.... also, I have the Metal Grips, Metal G Fan, Frame braces and Mixing Arms.... So, I have the most notable upgrades but, wasn't too sure on the clear coated tail blades...

I'll have to look into the CF align paddles.

I fly the 85mm KBDD tail blades and the Align carbon flybar paddles and my 600NSP flys great have had no problems. love the tail blades they are very durable and you can break about 3 sets of them for the price of the carbon tail blades.

Trying not to put them in the dirt.
