Guy's I have my original Reflex XTR with a blue futaba square plug dongle. My pentium 4, Windows XP notebook never had the processor speed to run it, with out heating up and fragging out - and when it did it was always a issue of fustration.

I hate to write it off considering what I spent on it - any reccomendations ? Is a worth trading or donating ?

You could probably sell it in the classifieds and get a few dollars for it.

You need a good PC if your going to use a good Sim , not the sims fault.

I would keep the sim and change the pc.

I agree that it is the PC/laptop that is at fault and not the sim. I too use the original XTR with the square blue dongle. I also have a acer laptop that I use it on. As the laptop is old I have to turn down the sim so that my laptop can just about manage to run it. But I have to admit that My laptop somtimes plays up. The SIm is great and I will soon be upgrading my laptop. The sim will be staying.

Go into the simulator display and turn down the resolution, You have to select somthing like 640-480@16 this allows my acer Travelmate to run the sim when I'm out.

Hope this helps you
