I need help! Can anyone tell me why I would be getting movement out of the tail servo when I throttle up or down? The throttle and pitch servos are working properly. I am trying to put my receiver in my new "to me" 50.

make sure you don't have a rudder to throttle mix active, or any programmed mix for that matter.

Agree with Brian, I'd look for any REVO mixing. what radio do you have? Does this happen even just sitting on the bench, engine not running?

Thanks Brian. That was it. I am now getting a lot of noise out of the servos (s9252). I am using a Futaba 6xhs. I am guessing it is from the routing of the servo wires???

9252's are digital servos and will generally make some noise just sitting there as there is generally some pressure from the heli's controls put on the servo. but if they really sound like they are working hard I'd look for any binding or hard to move controls.

Id check for binding, Ive never had any of my digitals make noise unless it was the tail servo, but that seems common. If your 9252s are making noise than you have a problem, that shouldnt happen. Could be alot of things, static electricity, binding, etc. Just move wires around and see if you can make it stop. Also you could unplug one servo at a time and see if it stops. Ive heard of one bad servo causing problems with all the rest.

Mine all buzz while they are sitting there. Digital servos do that, they are constantly trying to find center.

Thanks Andy. I posted that question before you checked out my Raptor. Are you flying on Saturday? I was thinking about making the drive from Gainesville.
I would like to move the tail servo up front. Should I wait until a get a lighter battery? What parts do I need to pick up to make the move?

I probably have the parts, let me check.

I'm going to Savannah on Saturday with the family and the Eagles are on at 1 on Sunday so if I do any flying this weekend it will be at the little dirt patch plank field by my house first thing Sunday for an hour or two.

Let me know. Do you agree I will need a smaller battery pack? What would you recommend?

I am going to be in Orlando tomorrow so I am going to pick some things up. Particularly PV0499.

Maybe I try to get up the next weekend then. The EAGLES???

Go G-Men! Just kidding. I can make it up during the week. Let me know and I will schedule some business up that way. I ordered some decals from Callie Graphics. Thanks for the tip.
