T-REX 500 › Good Trex 500 blades question?

just wondering what are some good blades for the Trex 500, currently i have the Align 430 carbons(the re-named Rotortechs yellow ones)
they just dont have the lift that i like, they have great roll rates but to lift. I also have a pair of V-blades, also great roll rates and no lift.
i run a stock motor with 14t pinion. I am maxed out on the pitch, running them on 6 cell 3000mah outrage lipos.
i was wondering if the ALign white carbons are any better before i buy.
i like my helis to take off like a bat out of hell when i give it full pitch.

i fly the align white carbons, but do not fly 3d. however, i am working of full power climbouts, and trying to maintain control. with 11,-11 pitch range, this climbs out faster and harder than anything ive seen. even my flying buddies were surprised. FWIW, ive been very happy with mine.

ten grand in helis and all i can do is hover

You said your pitch is maxed out... maybe you are pulling too much pitch. Have you measured it?

The white align carbons are the best bang for the buck as far as an all around blade. i've flown just about all of them and they do pretty good.

Currently I'm flying V's and really like them though, but you can't even get them anymore.

The black and yellow Align/Rotortechs? I have a set I have flown a few times. I thought They flew similar to the stock blades although I haven't flown them back to back.

The yellow align/rototech blades are slower on the cyclics than the stock align ones

Try the Mavrikk G5 Pro 430s...they are very light and wider chord than any other blade. I noticed a huge power increase in climbouts when I switched from Align 425s.

I've tried the Radix 430. it has more pop and breaking power than the Align 425. currently running 13+ 13- pitch, 8 degrees cyclic flying hard 3D for 3.50 mins.

Blades

Lets not forget the SAB 430mm main blades, either the regular flavour or the Red Devil series.
I've tried most and i will only fly the SAB 430's on my Trex500.

I have tried a lot of different blades and I think you will like the SAB 430s. I also would suggest you bump the head speed a little. I think you'd like it with a 15t pinion. I liked the stock motor on 15t pinion until I got my current scorpion motor. That is a lot of pitch and the stock motor may not be giving you the power you want with so much pitch.
