I was driving a 1996 4-door suzuki sidekick for 5 years now. I wanted to wear out that vehicle before buying new, but the thing wouldn't die. When the fuel entry crumbled from rust and fell into the tank I sold the it and got a 2008 mitsubishi outlander XLS with all the bells and whistles (except the navigation/entertainment unit)

It is a radical change! I love it! especialy the sound system!

I guess many of you have one, wanna share your opinion?

ehh...get a '68 VW Bus...there rated to carry 1 ton with a 65hp motor!

Just joking man, I like Dodge 4x4's! after I sold my last Powerwagon I picked up a '68 Bus, lifted it 4.75 inches all around and it went almost everywhere my 4x4's would go.

4x4's do not keep you from getting stuck...they just let you enjoy being stuck in more out of the way places!

The suzuki weight 2350lb, little over one metric ton, it think the dodge may have a hickup

I drive one at my job, wish they had electric door lock as I have to take a walk in the cabin, just to reach to the passager side lock

Pics coming soon...

0-60 just under a minute. but its got over 600.000 miles(!) on it and its still in one piece. Can't really imagine any other car going that long and staying in one piece

Element +1

My 05 Element EX AWD works great for me..Lots of room with the seats stowed. I haven't tried a 50cc plank, but it holds all the helis and smaller planks I need for a weekend of flying.

Still, it not as roomy as my last hauler- 86' Vanagon- that would haul a whole Fun Fly worth of flying machines..But at 250K miles it was getting too funky, even for me.
