they were THE BEST....beat the others by at least 50%...now they only ship internationally. i promoted them to all i knew.(i hear rumors that UPS bought out their domestic dept)**** a gasser heli could go from New York to Oklahoma and from Louisianna to New York for under $45...(i did it.)and that is a fully ready to fly with transmitter and MANY, MANY extras too!!! UPS...around $120 or more. DAM SHAME. i will miss them!!

IF I AIN'T FLYIN' - I'M PROBABLY BUYIN'

Fedex is a rip off!! $45 to ship a package 2 day? USPS was $5 for the same package 2-3 day and I could have had overnight for a little less than fedex was asking for 2 day.

DHL was losing money on domestic shipping because it couldnt keep up with Fedex and UPS. I know several pilots that lost their jobs with DHL.

They all have there pros and cons.

Usps is best on prices and is the most reliable.

Ups is great with there tracking numbers.

Fedex seems to have the best customer service. (my own experience) So dont get pissy with me.

When I have to ship parts or other things, and it's not too heavy, I use USPS Priority. Can usually get the shipment clear across the country in 3-4 business days (Christmas notwithstanding). I can also print my labels at home and have USPS boxes and stickers ready to go. You can order USPS boxes and ID labels (not shipping labels) at no cost to you from USPS website. This is good if you ship a lot of stuff, too...

Good riddance DHL, glad to see them go. DHL would always claim my address didn't exists and send the packages back to the sender. My house has been here for over 10 years and my address shows up on every internet map. Delivery people that can't read a map. Only having to find an entire continent is more their speed.

The bottom line is having fun.

DHL customer service was so under quality the worms were tripping over it. Good, I'm glad DHL is gone.

UPS Ground is generally about 15-18 % HIGHER than FedEx..... both tracking systems are comparable.....

Do a side by side "mock" shipment and you'll see the difference....

Also, you can get a FedEx account (free) that takes a few seconds to do at any of their facilities and you'll save an additional 9% on every shipment....

Not sure if UPS offers that (they may ?)

I would agree that for small items, USPS is the best bang for the buck..... I've had nothing but reliable service using them....

UPS and FED EX....no thanks...well now imust........

sorry , but from my experience, you guys are way off. DHL never lost any of my packages nor anyones that i knew...USPS..is the cheapest..true if your sending a letter or SMALL BOX . I had a heli come from ENGLAND using DHL...it arrived promptly, and because it had a weak canopy it received some cracks. i got a form in the mail...sent it in,without any pix or proof...with in days $50 arrived in the mail. USPS...insurance is a waste of money..never want to pay-up,even with written proof from an appraiser!!DHL was KING. i have a 4 foot box comming to me from tennesee (at least should be)with a 43 inch gasser speed boat in it.....DHL would have been around $50 TOPS...UPS gave the seller a $200 quote. the seller MAY DRIVE IT UP HERE...says it would be cheaper----what does that say about UPS....TRUELY SORRY if i am stepping on any toes...but i am speaking from MY experience with MANY PACKAGES through DHL...sorry to see them go.even if you dont like DHL...they did provide competition to the others..i hate to see how high the UPS prices will go now......MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

It all depends where you live, All experiences will vary. Im sure there is some guy in Nebraska that is in the sweet spot of the country and can receive anything from any shipper in 8 hours, while the rest of us tend to suffer!! I live 6 blocks from the DHL/UPS/FED-EX depot and I get all my $hit around dark or whenever they go home for the day.
